I am giving my husband a handmade photo album of our honeymoon. We’ve been married 10 years – and finally got to take one this past September. Also, you can never beat a homecooked meal.

My hubs and I loves travelling but we didn’t do it as often. I like the idea of giving a surprise valentine gift to my hubs for a getaway. We love using groupon so I’m going to check it out.

These are great ideas, I don’t like spending too much on Valentine’s Day since it’s right after the Christmas season and I’m using trying to stick to a budget this time of year. We usually end up cooking a fancy dinner at home or going out to a restaurant the day after Valentine’s to avoid the markup prices.

Now that we are older we don’t go all out for Valentine’s day. We really try to focus our giving to our grandchildren so when I saw these simple gifts they were right up my alley. Thank you for reading and commenting Nellwyn!

Thank you Brandy! We try and keep it simple too. We have been married for so long we really don’t need gifts we have each other. I know that sounds corny but it is the truth. Thank you for reading and commenting!

We don’t really do much for Valentine’s Day these days. We’re on different schedules and money is tight so generally I just make him a favorite dish around the day.
